Bosch’s portfolio in the Mobility Solutions business sector already extends beyond the car. With a new condition monitoring system, a freight train is transformed into a digitalized and smart means of transport. New functions can now be realized, such as precise pinpointing of the freight car, information about transport conditions of the freight, registering shocks and vibration during shunting, and recording freight car mileage to allow maintenance based on mileage and condition.
