Key data for 2015: performance by business sector

In 2015, Bosch Group sales reached an all-time high of 70.6 billion euros. The company succeeded in increasing revenue by 10 percent last year when calculated on a comparable basis. The Mobility Solutions business sector saw its sales grow by 12 percent in 2015, to 41.7 billion euros. At 59 percent, the sector is responsible for the largest share of total sales. The Industrial Technology business sector’s development reflected the difficult situation in the mechanical engineering market. Overall, sales in this sector fell by 1.6 percent to 6.6 billion euros. The Consumer Goods business sector recorded very good growth and was able to increase its sales by 10 percent year on year to 17.1 billion euros. The Energy and Building Technology business sector recorded growth of 11 percent, which was considerably higher than the previous year. The sector generated sales of 5.1 billion euros in 2015.
