Bosch’s business in Europe developed better in 2015 than initially forecast. In this region, the supplier of technology and services was able to increase its sales by 3.8 percent to 37.3 billion euros. Sales developed positively in the company’s home market of Germany as well, climbing 1.3 percent. In North America, Bosch was able to benefit from the region’s excellent economic development. There, the company’s revenues grew by a significant 25 percent to 12.7 billion euros. In South America, by contrast, the recession in Brazil had a major impact on Bosch’s business. Overall, sales in the region fell by 13 percent. In Asia Pacific – including Africa – Bosch recorded sales growth of 17 percent to 19.2 billion euros.
